The CBS network today announced it’s bring back America’s favorite 80s era DIY action hero.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the “reboot of 1980s action-hour drama MacGyver, starring Lucas Till and George Eads, will be on Friday nights.”

The original series, starring Richard Dean Anderson as the mulleted special agent, aired on ABC from 1985 to 1992.

In March, Deadline Hollywood’s Nellie Andreeva noted that the pilot episode “features [a] twentysomething Angus MacGyver (Till), who is recruited into the clandestine organization from the original series.”
