A little Sailor in Alaska’s most famous political family has been formally re-christened.

People magazine reports that Bristol Palin and ex-fiance Dakota Meyer have come to an amicable child-custody arrangement for infant daughter Sailor Grace that includes a change to the birth certificate.

Sailor Grace Palin Meyer is now the legal name for Sarah Palin’s 4-month-old granddaughter.

“Every child deserves two loving parents, so I will continue to encourage that no matter what,” Palin wrote in a February Instagram post, adding, “I have never, and will never, keep them from having a positive relationship with their fathers.”

Palin and Meyer appear to be the latest high-profile duo committed to amicably “coparenting” while in the media spotlight, a term popularized by Hollywood icons like Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.
