I was more interested in why “Stars are aligned against Trump” (Page 1, March 11), a propaganda piece, was front-and-center on the Times’ page one than I was in the anti-American “stars” of Hollywood who were photographed. When you boil it down to the dregs in the bottom of the barrel, who cares what Hollywood thinks about Donald Trump?

Has-beens such as Spike Lee, George Lopez and the others mentioned in the piece are just the most recent representatives of the bed-hopping, pill-popping, Marxist mentality that has pervaded that California fantasyland for decades.

Why would any American want to take advice from people who have spent much of their lives ’being’ someone else? Between the fruitcakes and the nut jobs there is little real talent in films today. The Hollywood actors mentioned in the article have proven that their support for the anti-Trump cause or any other is based solely on the profit factor. Getting themselves into the limelight of the media is done purely for publicity reasons. People who live in a fictional world care nothing for real people or their plight.

Until this point I was not even close to choosing a candidate, but if Donald Trump wins the nomination I will vote early to make him president. History seems to be proving that the late Sen. Joe McCarthy was right after all.
