I was disappointed when Ben Carson, my favorite Washington Times contributor, suspended his presidential bid. Mr. Carson offered a different slant to the Republican campaign.

He was a medical doctor. Even current Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump said, “I guess he was a good doctor.”

Wrong, Mr. Trump; Ben Carson was an excellent doctor. Perhaps Mr. Trump should read one of the good doctor’s autobiographies.

Yale has produced a good number of commanders in chief. If America chooses democratically in the November elections, it will still choose a candidate of that same cloth. Remember that, Mr. Trump.
