A loaded BB gun found in a middle-school bathroom in Fort Meade, Maryland, prompted a brief lockdown Tuesday morning, The Capital newspaper of Annapolis reported.
“Police performed a search at the school for additional weapons and none were found, according to a tweet from Anne Arundel County Public Schools,” The Capital said.
Students at Meade Middle School were back in classes after police found no additional weapons, the paper reported, citing the local school board.
