ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — Authorities say a bicyclist was struck and killed by a car in Rockville.
The Montgomery County Police Department tells news organizations that 31-year old Oscar Mauricio Gutierrez Osorio died after being struck at the bottom of two steep hills Sunday afternoon.
Police say Osorio was crossing lanes near a crosswalk when he was struck by a Honda.
Osorio was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries. The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
