Metropolitan Police have arrested a woman in connection with a homicide Saturday in Southeast.

Tammy Lawrence, 41, of Southeast, has been charged with first degree murder while armed.

Around 8 a.m. Saturday, officers in the 7th Police District responded to a call about an assault in a home in the 2800 block of Douglass Place SE. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from a stab wound. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.



The victim — Ricardo Dasilva, 30, of Southeast — was transported to the D.C. Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
