In this age of armed radical terrorists and deranged individuals among us, we continue to provide areas in which people will be guaranteed not to immediately resist violent attacks: so-called gun-free zones. This policy makes no sense. Given the choice of attacking in an area without guns and attacking a normal area where the possibility of armed private citizens exists, terrorists would most certainly choose the area which has no guns. Why do we provide these areas? Gun-free zones should be eliminated.
