When in Iowa, full of Evangelicals as it is, talk as Iowan-Evangelicals do.
But if you’re in New Hampshire now and you’re Donald Trump, apparently you can start letting the f-bombs rip.
From video and an article at CBSNews.com:
“And you can tell them to go f**k themselves,” Donald Trump told a crowd at a Portsmouth Rally on Thursday night, uttering the expletive at the climax of the riff on his tax proposal. He was referring to companies that have relocated overseas for more favorable tax rates.
And:
“They’re ripping the sh*t out of the sea,” Trump said when explaining China’s island building in the South China Sea, eliciting a gasp of approval and laughter from the rapt audience.
My advice to Mr. Trump?
Be consistent. Evangelical eardrums won’t burst when in contact with f-bombs. So let your true colors show more often. Be real. Be genuine.
Especially when your 747 lands in places called “Charleston,” “Greenville,” or “Myrtle Beach” next week.
