Tommy Chong, who with Cheech Marin made a series of stoner comedies, said at an Oscars post-party Sunday that he believes the cultural tide has invariably turned toward marijuana legalization.
“Legalization normally helps people that do things legally,” Mr. Chong told The Washington Times. “Most of the world does things regardless if it’s legal or not.”
Mr. Chong believes that legalization will help the government raise money and take cash out of the hands of street dealers.
“If they make it legal, all that means is the government will get their cut,” he said.
