Sen. Bernard Sanders was stumped on “The View” Wednesday when asked to say one nice thing about Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
“What can I say?” asked the Democratic rival, fresh off of his New Hampshire primary win.
“The View” co-hosts suggested ideas like “nice ties” and nice hair until Mr. Sanders finally settled on a joke answer, USA Today reported.
“Humble,” he said, prompting laughter and applause from the audience.
Mr. Sanders then described Hillary Clinton as “intelligent,” Ted Cruz as “loud,” and John Kasich as “old friend.”
Mr. Sanders also played basketball with his female co-hosts on the daytime talk show and got his first taste of his very own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, “Bernie’s Yearning.”
“Excellent!” he said of the flavor.” “I’m not just saying it because it’s Bernie’s Yearning.”
