LAUDERHILL, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a woman was hospitalized after being mauled by at least one dog at a South Florida home.
Local media outlets report the attack occurred Monday.
Lauderhill police say officers discovered one dog attacking the woman when they arrived at the home, but two other dogs were also present. It wasn’t immediately known if the other dogs participated in the attack.
Lauderhill Fire Rescue rushed her to a Fort Lauderdale hospital in critical condition with severe injuries to her arms.
The woman’s name wasn’t immediately released. Officials say she was visiting from the Carolinas and brought her dogs with her.
