RANDOLPH, Vt. (AP) - Preventing school violence is the focus of an all-day conference for public and independent Vermont schools next week in Randolph.

The state Agency of Education and Department of Public Safety are hosting the conference at Vermont Technical College on Thursday.

More than 130 school executive leaders, first responders, mental health providers and school crisis planning team members are expected to attend the training.



Participants will receive a certificate of completion from SIGMA Threat Management Associations.
