EAST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - East Haven Police are continuing to investigate a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian Saturday night.
Police say they were able to obtain a description of the vehicle, even though it drove away when officers arrived at the scene on Foxon Road. Police say they later found a vehicle matching that description and its occupants in New Haven.
The name of the pedestrian, who later died at Yale-New Haven Hospital, has not yet been released. Police asking anyone with information about the crash to contact them.
This marks the sixth pedestrian death in Connecticut since Thursday.
