CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Chandler police say a woman and a baby were seriously hurt after being struck by a car while crossing an intersection on Thursday.
The incident happened on Warner Road just east of Dobson road around 1 p.m.
A car that had just pulled out of a driveway on the southeast corner of the intersection struck a woman who was pushing a stroller but holding the baby in her arms.
Police say an 11-month-old baby and a 45-year-old woman were seriously hurt and were transported to a hospital.
An investigation is ongoing.
