BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police say a boy has been struck and seriously injured by a truck in Burlington.
Authorities say the 14-year-old darted from between parked vehicles and was hit by a commercial box truck on Thursday.
The boy was taken to the hospital. Police did immediately not know the extent of his injuries.
Authorities say snow was accumulating and the road was starting to get slippery, which may have contributed to the accident.
Police say a vehicle inspection found nothing faulty with the truck.
