GILA BEND, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a three-vehicle collision that left a commercial truck driver dead on State Route 85 near Gila Bend on Wednesday.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the crash happened just before 5 a.m. when a passenger car rear-ended another car and ended up partially blocking State Route 85.

A tractor-trailer carrying groceries rear-ended that car and rolled over. The driver of the semi, who has not been identified, was killed.

Police say a 20-year-old Chandler woman was at fault and is facing manslaughter, endangerment and other criminal charges. Investigators haven’t ruled out the possibility that the driver was impaired.
