3 men wounded by gunfire in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police say three men have been wounded in a shooting in the Gentilly Woods neighborhood.

NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/2igQGZC ) that one victim suffered gunshot wounds to the head and hand in the Tuesday night gunfire.

New Orleans police say a second victim suffered a gunshot wound to the right shoulder. The third victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.

All three men were taken to a hospital.

Police were searching for shell casings and other evidence in the area.
