Justice names his administration’s communications director

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia Gov.-elect Jim Justice says Carl “Butch” Antolini will be his administration’s director of communications.

According to Justice’s transition team, Antolini has been communications director for the West Virginia Department of Agriculture since 2013 and was previously executive editor and general manager for Beckley Newspapers.

A former member of the West Virginia Press Association and member of its board, he’s a 1982 graduate of the Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University.

Justice takes office in January.
