BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - Bridgeport police have identified two city men who were killed in a fiery sport-utility vehicle crash over the weekend.

Authorities told the Connecticut Post (https://bit.ly/2ixJCVc ) that 24-year-old Will Alexander-Armijo and 26-year-old Ismael Hernandez died after their Nissan Pathfinder struck a concrete barrier on Laurel Avenue and burst into flames just before 10 p.m. Saturday.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Police say Alexander-Armijo was the driver.



A passer-by managed to remove Alexander-Armijo from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. Hernandez was declared dead at the scene.
