In Guilford County , there is a similar mix of curbside pickup in Greensboro and High Point as well as drop-offs at the Guilford County Farm in Gibsonville.
Buncombe County says Asheville residents can get curbside pickup, but there are also drop-offs at the county landfill and yard waste facility.
To the east, Fayetteville has curbside pickups on Jan. 9, and those outside the city can also drop them off at the Fayetteville Community Garden. New Hanover County also has four dropoff locations.
