LYNN, Mass. (AP) - Police say the driver of a car that plowed into a Lynn gas station had been shot before the crash.

The Honda sedan crashed through the door of the service bay and brought down a pile of bricks and cinder blocks at about 12:30 a.m. Monday at the Prime gas station on Boston Street. The vehicle did not strike the pumps.

The 23-year-old man who was behind the wheel was taken to a hospital in serious condition. His name hasn’t been released.

Shortly after the crash, another man showed up at a local hospital with gunshot wounds, but police say they don’t know yet if the shootings are connected.

There have been no arrests in either shooting.
