WASHINGTON (AP) - A woman has been hospitalized after she was struck by a Metro train at the Landover station.

Mark Brady, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County Fire Department, said the woman “intentionally moved in front of the Metro train at Landover Station” on Sunday afternoon. Medics removed the woman, who has not been identified, from the underside of the train. The incident caused delays on the Orange Line.

Officials say the woman was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
