NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware police say a pedestrian is dead after a hit-and-run accident in New Castle.
Police say the wreck occurred just before 8 p.m. on Saturday on Christiana Road near East Edinburgh Drive. Police say a car traveling westbound approached the intersection and struck a pedestrian, who flew into the middle of the road. Police say the car didn’t stop after the collision, and instead continued driving westbound to an unknown location. Police have identified the victim as 54-year-old Lisa Bolden. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they believe the car is white four-door sedan and should have damage to its right front corner. The crash is still under investigation.
