EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Authorities have identified a 22-year-old man who died after crashing his pickup truck into a wall outside the federal courthouse in Eugene.
The Register-Guard reports (https://bit.ly/2i24zbV ) that Donavan Charles Lacost, of Junction City, was killed in the crash Thursday night.
Police say they had received a call about a maroon-colored pickup truck that was moving erratically near the courthouse minutes before the vehicle crashed.
Police say Lacost had been speeding when he failed to make a turn, sending his car across the street and into the wall.
He died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
