Man, 71, fatally struck by a car while crossing street

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say a 71-year-old man has died after he was struck by a car while crossing a street.

Police Department Lt. Steve Summers said the crash happened in southwest Las Vegas Tuesday night.

Summers told The Las Vegas Review-Journal (https://bit.ly/2i1bC3R ) that the driver cooperated and did not appear to be impaired.

The man’s identity has not been released.
