President-elect Donald Trump said Wednesday that the terror attacks in Europe and Turkey proved him right about the jihadi threat and that he would pursue his plan for “extreme vetting” of visitors to the U.S.

“What’s going on is terrible,” Mr. Trump told reporters outside his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.

Asked if he was reevaluating plans to crate a Muslim registry or temporarily ban Muslim immigrants, he said: “You know my plans. All along, I’ve been proven to be right — 100 percent correct. What’s happening is disgraceful.”
