SELBYVILLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a Selbyville man stabbed a woman who refused his sexual advances.
Police say 30-year-old Temourise Taylor drove to his home Monday with the woman to drop off Christmas presents and there she refused his advances several times. When Taylor drove the woman home, she noticed he wasn’t going the right way and she got out when he stopped in a secluded area. Police say Taylor grabbed the woman’s shirt, she struck him and Taylor began stabbing her in the upper torso. The woman fled and a person in a nearby truck called 911.
Police say Taylor drove off, but was soon captured. The woman was admitted to a hospital in stable condition.
Taylor is charged with attempted murder, attempted rape and a weapons offense.
