KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) - Kenosha police say a human skeleton found earlier this year is that of a Chicago man reported missing in 2012.

Authorities said Monday a DNA match identified the remains as that of Hozia Jackson, who was born in 1965.

Jackson’s remains were discovered in April off a frontage road of Interstate 94 in Kenosha. Police were called after a surveyor found a skull in the ditch. Officers arrived and found the skeletal remains.

The death remains under investigation.
