PROVO, Utah (AP) - Provo police say a man who fatally struck a bicyclist while trying to find an address with his cellphone has turned himself in.

Police said the 30-year-old driver surrendered to police on Monday, the day after he drove away from the scene of the collision.

Officers say 62-year-old Mark Robinson was riding in the middle of a traffic lane when he was hit.

Investigators had said they thought they’d be able to find the driver based on interviews with witnesses at the scene.

The driver’s name was not immediately released, but police said he could face criminal charges.
