LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Police are investigating a fatal car crash involving a 71-year-old Las Cruces woman.
They say officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash about 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
A woman was critically injured in the crash and transported to a hospital, where she died.
Police haven’t released the name of the woman yet.
They say a 10-year-old child in the other vehicle was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
The driver and other occupants in that same vehicle were treated at the scene and released.
