TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Tucson say a 3-year-old boy is in serious condition after being accidentally shot by a 7-year-old boy.

Tucson police spokeswoman Sgt. Kimberly Bay says the shooting happened about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on the city’s southwest side.

It isn’t unclear how the older boy got the firearm. Police have not released additional information about the incident or the relationship between the two children.
