SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Police are trying to identify the remains of a person found dead on private property near the Salt Lake City International Airport.

The decomposed body was found Saturday by a man who was riding his horse accompanied by his dogs near the Rudy Duck Club north of the airport.

Police don’t know if the body is that of a man or a woman, but say it appears to be an adult and had been in the field for some time.

They don’t suspect any foul play and are waiting for autopsy results from a medical examiner to determine a cause of death.
