ELIZABETH, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey man has admitted sharing child pornography photos and videos online.
Union County prosecutors say Eugene Jukniewicz recently pleaded guilty to distributing child porn. The 49-year-old Cranford man now faces a five-year state prison term - with no chance for parole - when he’s sentenced Feb. 10.
The charge stems from an investigation that began with a referral from the state’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force last fall. Prosecutors say the probe revealed Jukniewicz was receiving and sharing computer files depicting a range of child pornography.
Jukniewicz was arrested without incident at his home in December 2015. Investigators also seized a computer and a tablet containing more than 25 files of child porn at the residence.
