CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) - Police say two teenage boys were arrested for having a gun at a school in Casa Grande and threatening another student.
The Casa Grande Police Department says a 16-year-old brought a handgun in his backpack to Casa Grande Union High School on Friday.
A 15-year-old is accused of possessing the gun at various times.
Investigators say the teens threatened another student, but the gun wasn’t fired or pointed at anyone.
The gun was unloaded when it was discovered.
It was spotted by someone who saw it inside the backpack.
The 15- and 16-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of threatening and misconduct with weapons.
