A new ad from a pro-Donald Trump political action committee plays off Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s statement several years ago that she and her husband, former President Clinton, were “dead broke” coming out of the White House.

“We came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt,” Mrs. Clinton says at the start of the ad from the group Rebuilding America Now — comments she had originally made in June 2014.

“It didn’t last long,” a narrator says. “A foundation was created, and money started to roll. Speeches, connections and donations.”

“Misogynistic regimes. Wall Street insiders. Corrupt dictators,” the ad continues. “They all had one thing in common: Their check cleared.”

The ad goes on to say that the Clintons are now worth in excess of $100 million.
