Fine print on the waiver forms that contestants on NBC’s “The Apprentice” signed included a stipulation allowing them to be filmed naked, The Daily Beast reported Friday.

“According to a copy of an NBC contract reviewed by The Daily Beast, contestants had to agree to be filmed, ’whether I am clothed, partially clothed or naked, whether I am aware or unaware of such videotaping, filming or recording,’ the website reported of the NBC reality program, previously hosted by GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Another stipulation to the contracts was that contestants would submit to a battery of blood screenings for “HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HPV, syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and herpes,” the Daily Beast quoted from one document.

“Trump also told the AP in the early 1990s that he required his dates to be tested for AIDS by his personal doctor,” the Daily Beast said.

“It’s one of the worst times in the history of the world to be dating,” Mr. Trump said at the time.

It is, however, unclear to what extent the stipulations in the “Apprentice” contract were at the insistence of Mr. Trump and which had their genesis with in-house lawyers for NBC who were doing their best to prevent the network from being sued for say an inadvertent videotaping of a compromising situation.
