An anti-terrorism raid in England on Friday netted five suspects across the country.

An army bomb disposal squad was called in as a “precautionary measure” as police arrested five men who allegedly prepared a U.K. terror attack.

Two men ages 32 and 37 were arrested in Staffordshire and another three, ages 18, 24, and 28, were arrested in Birmingham, BBC reported. Authorities said the arrests were “intelligence-led and part of an ongoing investigation.”



Witnesses said the an Army Bomb Disposal Team van and a robot was located on Florence Street in Birmingham, the U.K. Telegraph reported.

The suspects are being held by police at a location in West Midlands.
