A baseball player launched a grand slam out of the ballpark on Sunday and shattered his truck’s windshield in the process.

The Frontier League’s Gateway Grizzlies of Sauget, Illinois, clobbered the Joliet Jammers over the weekend 17-6, SB Nation reported Monday. Outfielder Brandon Thomas contributed to the victory with a grand slam that also benefited his mechanic.

“Definitely worth it!” Mr. Thomas tweeted after the game.

Mr. Thomas is batting .259 with 11 home runs and 42 RBI.
