I am a retired Air Force officer who on several occasions took the oath of my commission to defend the Constitution from our enemies, “both foreign and domestic.” I am perplexed and frustrated that our government does not have the will to uphold and defend our Constitution from either domestic or foreign enemies.

The most frightening examples are the ongoing actions of the socialist, anti-American businessman George Soros and our feckless, arrogant president. Soros continues to use his enormous wealth to support efforts to totally obliterate our borders and allow unscreened and potentially dangerous people into the country, putting our citizens at risk and the country in grave danger. He is not only encouraging foreign-terrorist infiltration of our country, but has himself become a domestic terrorist by virtue of his egregious actions.

For his part, our president continues to release incarcerated terrorists from Guantanamo Bay and place them in the hands of foreign countries with little to no control or insight into their future status. Our president also is unwittingly engaging in domestic terrorism through his unwarranted and questionable actions.

If they are not out and out enemies of the state, Soros and the president have certainly created an environment that makes it easier for people who want to harm our citizens to operate. I would suggest that, at a minimum, these two very powerful and influential people have become enablers to the further decline of our constitutional republic. People can decide what to call their ill-advised activities, but unless action is taken to curtail the efforts, the only people who will be punished are the American citizens.
