Seven shot in two incidents in Washington, D.C.

Seven people were shot, one fatally, in two incidents in D.C. on Monday night, Fox5 reported.

Five men were shot around 10 p.m. on the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard SE in Southeast, in the Congress Heights neighborhood. None of the victims’ injuries immediately appeared to be life-threatening.

Two men were shot about a half-hour later on Forrester Street in Southwest. One victim died and the other is “said to be in extremely bad shape,” Fox5 reported.
