Three suspects have been taken into custody in connection with what the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is calling the homicide of a Sterling, Virginia, teenager, on Friday.
The victim was identified as Danny Centeno-Miranda, a 17-year-old student at Park View High School.
The Sheriff’s Office said detectives working overnight have identified and located the suspects, a 17-year-old male, an 18-year-old male and a 20-year-old male.
Police are withholding the name of the 17-year-old teen suspect from Sterling because he is a juvenile. He was charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The teen is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.
The other suspects are Henry Ernesto Dominguez Vasquez, 20, and Juan Moises Aguirre Zelaya, 18, both of Sterling. They were charged with possession of a firearm by a person who is not a citizen of the United States and accessory after the fact.
The shooting was reported about 8:30 a.m. Friday.
