***School doesn’t want to allow anything that refers back to “solving problems through violence.” Seems commendable at first. But, as the author of this article writes, most parents who send their kids to this school are probably counting on the school’s security officer being committed to solving some problems through violence.

***I’m always encouraged by these stories, especially when they dig deeper into the story—both the joy and the sorrow—along with the specific, logistical steps taken. The pastor in this story happens to be a friend of mine, so I enjoy it all the more.
