It’s sure to send a few shocks down the campaign trail, and possibly inspire her rivals to produce something similar. That would be “Citizen Carly,” a new documentary film abut Republican hopeful Carly Fiorina, paid for by CARLY for America, a super PAC supporting her campaign, and bearing all the hallmarks of a substantial production, judging by the trailer.

There’s soaring music and dramatic narration, plus footage from the candidate’s past as CEO and political entity. “How well do you know Carly?” the film demands. Its release is timely. Ms. Fiorina has won a coveted spot in the next upcoming presidential debate, her poll numbers and name recognition have risen substantially. The new film seeks to tell her whole story.

“I know what it’s like to be at the bottom of the totem poll,” the candidate says in the movie.

“It’s the story the mainstream media doesn’t want you to see,” notes an intense narrator, adding, “This is an unprecedented documentary film about an outsider who broke the barriers and changed the order of things.”
