A middle school in Dunbar, West Virginia, was placed on lockdown Tuesday after a man walked into the school and demanded that he sing Justin Bieber songs to students over the intercom.
Dunbar Police charged Dlaonte Dee Lewis with simple possession for a small amount of marijuana after he entered the main office of Dunbar Middle School while the morning announcements were being made and demanded he sing to students, a local Fox News affiliate reported.
Mr. Lewis was apparently buzzed into the school, police said. The incident is still being investigated.
Students were placed on a precautionary lockdown and a police officer stationed at the school responded to the scene, Fox reported.
The man was reportedly handcuffed, for the safety of others, and was taken to a local hospital.
