WASHINGTON — A woman has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of a Prince George’s County man.

Police say that they arrested 45-year-old GiGi Marie Thomas of Temple Hills on Sunday. Forty-two-year-old Devale Lamont Avery was found dead Friday evening inside a house in the Temple Hills area. Investigators say they believe an argument escalated between the two, which led to the stabbing.

Police declined to say when or where Thomas was arrested, or whether she lived in the house where Avery was killed.

It’s unclear whether Thomas has an attorney.
