Justin Bieber shared a touching note dedicated to his friend and Mercury Records executive Thomas Ayad, who was among the 129 killed during Friday’s terror attacks in Paris.

“RIP Thomas #PrayForParis,” the “Purpose” singer, 21, tweeted to his 69.8 million followers.

“Still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy,” Mr. Bieber’s note read. “He was a part of the team for years and I wish I would’ve had more time to thank him. Make sure to appreciate people while you have them. Thanks Thomas for everything you did for me. You are appreciated and missed. Thoughts and prayers are with your family & friends #PrayForParis.”

Mr. Ayad, 34, was an International Product Manager for Mercury Records, a division of Universal Music France, Vulture magazine reported. He is believed to have been killed at the Bataclan theater, one of five locations attacked Friday by Islamic extremists.

Pascal Nègre, the president of Universal Music France, confirmed that two more Universal employees named Marie and Manu were also killed, but their surnames have not yet been released, Vulture reported.
