MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - The University of Memphis has set up fundraising accounts for six student-athletes whose apartments suffered damage in a fire this year.

The contents of the apartment of two basketball players were destroyed, and two apartments housing four football players sustained substantial water damage.

The athletes weren’t injured but had to vacate the apartments.

Two accounts have been set up at Bank of Bartlett. One account is for basketball players Trahson Burrell and Markel Crawford and the other is for football players Taylor Fallin, Tevin Jones, Ryan Mack and Greg McKillion.

Boosters and fans aren’t allowed to donate anything directly to student-athletes.
