Five men were shot, one fatally, in a Capitol Heights neighborhood late Tuesday.
The shooting occurred around 11:15 p.m. in the 4700 block of Pard Road.
First responders at the scene discovered five men suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Prince George’s County police. The men were transported to hospitals for treatment, where one man died from his injuries. The injuries of the other four men are not considered life-threatening.
A Prince George’s County police spokesman said the shooting “does not appear to be a random act.”
Police have not released any descriptions of shooting suspects or any additional information about the incident.
