A young girl’s distribution of bags of heroin at day care resulted in her mother pleading guilty to child endangerment charges.
Ashley Tull, 30, of Georgetown, Delaware, was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to undergo a substance abuse evaluation by Superior Court Judge E. Scott Bradley, a local radio station reported Thursday.
Police said that Ms. Tull was charged in October after her 4-year-old daughter handed out 249 bags of heroin to friends under the impression she had candy.
There are two other children in home, a 9-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl. Judge Bradley said that Ms. Tull’s failure to comply with the substance abuse program could result in the children being removed from the home, the radio station reported.
